Nearly 30 years ago, Junk-Atique began as a humble missions fundraiser—a single yard sale in a church parking lot. What started small quickly became known throughout Bakersfield as “the biggest yard sale in town,” drawing a community of treasure-hunters and supporters year after year.
On March 2, 2018, Junk-Atique Outlet opened its doors on 21st Street with a clear and joyful mission: to make the name of Jesus famous in this city, the state, and to the ends of the earth. Every sale, every donation, and every interaction is rooted in that purpose.
In practical terms, Junk-Atique Outlet exists to fuel the missions heartbeat of Resurrection Church. Through thrifted finds and generous community giving, we raise funds that support local and global mission projects, outreach efforts, and ministry initiatives that share the love of Christ.
We’re thrilled to announce the next chapter—Revive on 19th, a curated boutique experience designed for sustainable shoppers and lovers of vintage charm. This new space will feature thoughtfully selected antique and vintage furniture, home décor, clothing, and unique collectibles. A refined, elevated extension of Junk-Atique Outlet… coming soon!
